Admissions

Designed for Access and Depth.

We’ve designed our seminary to be open, accessible, and rigorous—whether you’re taking one course out of curiosity or pursuing a full degree.

Here’s how it works:

No Admissions Required for Access or Individual Courses

Anyone can become a premium member ($49/month) and immediately access:

Exclusive theological content
Discounted courses ($150 per course instead of $220)
Live events, community conversations, and study resources

Anyone—member or non-member—can take individual courses without needing to apply to the seminary.

This means pastors, lifelong learners, ministry leaders, or the theologically curious can jump in at any time without jumping through hoops.

For those seeking to complete a certificate, diploma, or master’s degree, we offer a streamlined admissions process designed to evaluate readiness, not just credentials.

Step 1: Apply for Degree Admission

Submit a short application including:

Personal statement of faith and purpose
Academic transcripts (if required for the degree)
A reference from a church leader or mentor

Step 2: Admissions Decision

Our admissions team evaluates your application, course performance, and references.

Admitted students will be officially enrolled and can continue at the same price structure: $150 per course for members, $220 for non-members.

Step 3: Prior Learning and Personalized Learning Pathways

We don’t evaluate transcripts. We assess learning.

At our seminary, we believe theological education should recognize what you already know—not make you prove where you learned it.

That’s why we use an

AI-driven assessment system

to evaluate prior learning and personalize your pathway through the program.

How it works:

No transcripts required
No faculty review necessary

How it works:

Analyze your responses to a series of adaptive assessments
Evaluate written or verbal input based on theological depth, clarity, and relevance
Determine which competencies you’ve already mastered
If you’ve been taking courses with Verum prior to admission, those will already be assessed as part of your learning pathway

If you demonstrate sufficient knowledge in a given area, the system will:

Grant you credit for that course
Adjust your degree pathway so you’re not repeating material

Why it matters:

Whether you’ve studied at another school, served in ministry, or spent years reading and reflecting, your learning counts. Our job isn’t to retrace your steps—it’s to help you move forward with purpose.

Verum Seminary would be honored to support you as you prepare for the meaningful calling God has placed on your life. Our admissions team is here to answer any questions you may have along the way.
